I'm sort of fed up with blogger and I'm thinking about changing. Anyone have recommendations of different blog hosts and thoughts on whether it would be super difficult to transfer all of my old content over? It makes me sick to think about it, is all. But the interface on blogger is hideous and I don't love how my blog looks.

Obviously Tumblr.
Wordpress.com - and they have built in tools for importing all of your stuff - as well as a large number of designs.
all the cool kids are on tumblr.
I played with WordPress before striking out on my own. It's pretty good. I also played with tumblr a few years ago. 'Sokay. There also is http://posterous.com/, which a few other friends use and like.
It all ends up being your choice over what you need and which interface you prefer. Some make posting via email really easy, others give better options for managing when you posts appear, etc.
